Moccasin Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail
Trail update as of April 1, 2022

The Moccasin Ski Trail is mostly in very good condition. The light snow last night stuck to the ice from Wednesday night. Towards the end of the ski, on southern exposed slopes the snow started to get soft. The trail is clear of brush, The base and tracks are all still there and in good condition. The trail should hold up through the weekend and we do not plan on grooming again. Spring skiing conditions will exist - hard and fast in the morning and soft and slow as the temperature gets above freezing. Throughout most of the trail, there is still about a foot to a 2-foot base. The trail is always open and once the base is gone the trail will be good for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

The snowshoe trail should also still be in good condition for snowshoeing or hiking at least through this weekend – The low areas should not be filled with water yet.
